Information
for Prospective Students
Graduate studies and research at Horn Point are
part of the Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Science (MEES) Program based at the University
of Maryland at College Park. The MEES program offers both
Masters and Doctoral degree programs in six Areas of Specialization
(AOS), five of which are represented by faculty at Horn Point (i.e.
Environmental Chemistry, Oceanography, Ecology, Environmental Science,
and Fisheries Science). The Horn Point research community is very
diverse, including plankton dynamics, nutrient cycling, and physical
and biological estuarine processes.
