Acknowledgments

Many thanks to the organizations and individuals who made this web site possible. It has been truly a collaborative effort with the immediate goal of making water quality data available to the public and the ultimate goal of educating the public, increasing public awareness of water quality issues, and fueling the drive for improved water quality and the the betterment of local communities.

It is important to note that this is just a beginning. In order for this site to reach its potential the collaborative effort will need to continue so that data can be periodically updated and the functionality and ease of use of this site will continue to grow.

Some of the organizations who deserve thanks are:

-Talbot County Creekwatchers
-Talbot River Protection Association
-UMCES
-HPL GIS Group
-The Clayton Fund
-NASA's Land Use Land Cover Change Program

I know this is probably not a complete list of those persons and organizations deserving recognition....apologies to those who may have been excluded. If you notice any obvious errors or oversights please email them to Greg Radcliffe (gradclif@hpl.umces.edu).
