This photo shows the bottom of the gauge house at Greensboro. The white buoy you see rises and falls with the water level of the stream. The plastic tube that you see encircling the buoy, runs from the ISCO 6700 sampler at the top of the gauge house through the pipe visible under the water and out into the stream where water samples are obtained.
